Starting as a commercial HVAC installer for his family’s business, he worked in various roles within the company throughout his 18 years of employment with them. He acted as a service manager, construction manager, and general manager, as well as in business development and sales. Michael gained experience working with owners, property managers, tenants, and other trades to get projects completed on budget and on schedule. As a project manager, he oversaw projects ranging from minor retail tenant improvements to extensive multi-story mixed-use buildings renovations. In 2019, Michael transitioned to consulting, first in HVAC and then progressing to the exterior envelope. In these consulting positions, he has continued developing his skills as a talented CAD drafter and is currently working towards his Registered Wall Observer (RWO) certification.
